POSITION SUMMARY
The Office of Online and Blended Learning (OOBL) is dedicated to ensuring high quality and accessible online and blended instruction at CCA. We achieve this through collaboration with faculty, instructors, staff, and students within our institution. The OOBL focuses on innovative use of educational technology, high quality training opportunities for educators, staff, and students, and high quality supports in learning design.
The Project Manager collaborates with the Director of Online and Blended Learning (OBL) and the Dean of Academic Success for OBL to identify, plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget. This includes identifying resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Administrative tasks are included in project management within this role. The Project Manager will also assist in defining the project's objectives, create training materials, and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Examples of projects within the OOB) include course material adoptions, budget tracking, and the OOBL training program. Partial remote schedule available.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative
- Complete administrative tasks that are part of a given project where needed.
- Manage project communications as needed, including follow-ups.
- Track project statuses (training completions, material adoption completions, fee approvals, communications, document processing, etc.).
- Prepare pay forms and contracts, collect signatures, and process these documents to the appropriate destinations.
- Maintain a procurement card (p-card) in good standing for OOBL departments' purchases, following all required State, System, and College policies and processes. Complete pay requests as needed.
- Review and finalize documentation and communication regarding a variety of projects.
- Initiate and coordinate travel authorizations and processes as needed.
- Assist with data management as needed.
- Support the OBL Director and Dean of Academic Success with various tasks and needs.
- Assist in the management of the OBL Project Portfolio.
- Identify project management opportunities for existing tasks/projects to increase efficiencies and impact.
- Manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), from development to updating to implementation.
- Maintain or collect project statuses and other project health indicators, including assessment of project risks, and adjusting schedules and targets as needed.
- Simultaneously manage specific projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and OBL to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Develop, schedule, and communicate project plans including deliverables, phases, milestones, and tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with functional units across campus to ensure resources are aligned for project success.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting project requirements, preparing related budgets, scheduling expenditures, and initiating corrective actions.
- Create long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with any project.
- Perform quality control on the project throughout to maintain standards.
- Create training materials for end users.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR commensurate project management experience, where two (2) years of experience is equivalent to one (1) year of formal education.
- Two (2) years demonstrated professional experience in a project management/lead or related capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of project management.
- Familiarity with online and blended learning.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to develop best practices, techniques and tools for efficient project planning, execution, and management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills that invite all partners to the project planning and implementation environment.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of and experience with Project Management software.
- Professional work experience in higher education.
- Knowledge of and experience with a Learning Management System.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability work effectively in a team environment.
- Additional Certifications: PMP or ITIL certification is preferred.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Salary Range: Anticipated starting salary range: $69,484.00 annually. This salary is determined by the qualifications of the selected candidate balanced with departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information. CCA offers an excellent benefit plan, including generous leave, holiday, and education benefits. Full time employees immediately upon hire earn 15 hours a month annual leave and 10 hours a month sick leave.
