Job Description:
SUNY System Administration was awarded a $32M contract for the development and deployment of the Direct Service Professional (DSP) microcredential. This award will support the credit-bearing credential at approximately 20 campuses across the SUNY system. This position will support the Principal Investigator by providing overall project coordination and management of the program's schedule, campus progress, student enrollment and completion monitoring and reporting, programmatic changes, etc. This position will be part of a team working with the Sponsor (NYS OPWDD) and SUNY System administrators to provide education and training for the DSP workforce and must work collaboratively with campus curriculum leads, SUNY System, as well as OPWDD and the data management vendor.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage overall project schedules and report deadline status
  • Coordinate and manage the individual campuses project schedules and report deadlines
  • Coordinate with the System Admin DSP Project Team (director, contracts manager, other administrative staff) on student enrollment, completion rates, programmatic changes,etc.
  • Work with Sponsor and SUNY System Administrators to provide education and training opportunities for the DSP microcredential
  • Coordinate with vendor contracted by sponsor for data reporting
  • Monitor campus deliverables and report status
  • Complete any necessary administrative tasks, such as research, email, meeting minutes, agendas, etc.
  • Demonstrate commitment to project needs and confidentiality

Requirements:
Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem-solving
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Collaborative working style and team-player attitude
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Able to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven work environment

Preferred Candidates will have:
  • Additional certifications in project management or project relevant topics
  • Previous relevant work experience in project management
  • The ability to motivate others in a positive and encouraging manner is also a must-have skill in this position.
  • Note: this project is funded by a term limited contract sponsored by NYS OPWDD.

Salary Range- The compensation for this role is between $75,000 to $85,000. The pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, and certifications.
